All week I've been looking forward to taking Mackenzie to a local pumpkin patch I heard advertised on the radio. Needless to say, I was a little disappointed the way CO does pumpkin patches...they're not like they are home. We did have fun though and spent almost 3 hrs playing. I just had to laugh though when we pulled up and all the pumpkins were in large boxes...there was no "patch", and the petting zoo consisted of a few goats. Don't get me wrong, Mackenzie liked them and enjoyed the tractor ride, I just had something totally different in mind. I'll know better for next year! LOL It was a great afternoon though, oh, and we got to see the Stealth's fly over the Air Force football game while we were there which was cool. But the biggest disappointment...No cider and hot donuts....man there's no place like home!

This was one of the best fall pics I could get. Look past the runny nose! Last year's fall picture was much easier since she couldn't move and wasn't so easily distracted.

Looks like a fun day! She looks so cute petting the goats! I know what you mean about the pumpkin patch tho! BJ has been going on and on about cider and donuts but there isn't anything like that here...at least in Hickory. There is a church here that is selling them and has them all over their front yard. We're going on Monday before they get all picked over! I wish we were there to do all this fun stuff together! Trunk or Treat was fun last year!
