Brian keeps reminding me to update this so people know I survived the trip. We did make it back alive and what an adventure it was! It was so great seeing my family. It was the 1st time everyone has met Mackenzie so it really was a special trip. It's going to be a while before I travel alone again with a rambunctious toddler. I told my dad, it's like childbirth. Immediately afterward, it's not something you ever want to do again. But eventually you forget how much work it was and can't wait to do it again. I'm sure that's how this will be! Here are a few pictures of the family. Sorry I don't have any from the past weekend or anything. Mackenzie got another stomach virus and was throwing up and diarrhea...hopefully by Christmas she'll be completely well. Oh, and she's getting more teeth...FINALLY! I was able to bake some apple bread today with her help stealing my apples. I'd say we had a productive day.
Mackenzie opening her Christmas present from Grandpa & Grandma Irek. She's getting pretty good at opening gifts...can't wait for Christmas!
Enjoying a chocolate chip cookie on the plane
The most precious face ever!
Mackenzie with her great grandpa Irek and "grandma" May. He couldn't get enough of her, it was so sweet.
Mackenzie playing with her 3rd cousin, Brielle, who is 2 mos older.

Yay! I knew you were alive but I was starting to experience withdrawals cause it's been while since we've gotten to see some new pictures...
She looks like she had a lot of fun! : )
Mackenzie,
We saw your Nana and Papa tonight and they sure can't wait to see you in just a few days. Nana is counting down the hours already! Can't wait to see pictures!
Love,

P.S. Amanda you better take Maryann up on her offer to let you light that relaxation candle and lock yourself alone in your room for a few hours! : )
