Our dear little Addy is already 4 months old. Time sure is flying and this little girl isn't slowing down any time soon. At her appointment she weighed in at 14lbs 1 oz (60%) and was 24" long (50%). I just looked up Mackenzie's stats from 4 months and she too was 24" long but was only 12lb 11oz. I'm very thankful Adelynn is sleeping through the night and is now eating rice cereal. And can you believe this girl sitting up on her own!?! She was real interested in watching Mackenzie play with the easel. Mackenzie is having a difficult time with "terrible two's" and her teeth must be bothering her. She throws fits and tantrums like I've never seen before then the next minute she's sweet as can be. She's really gnawing on her pacifier so even though I can't feel teeth, they must be giving her trouble. She's the only two year old I know that only has 1/2 her teeth though! Otherwise the girls are doing great and playing together well. It's fun watching Mackenzie try to help Addy do things. I can't wait until Addy crawls (well, really I can!) and then watch the two of them play.
Mackenzie went with me to get Adelynn this morning. She wanted to sit in bed with her and thought she needed a few "babies". What a way to wake up...having "babies" stuffed in your face!
Mackenzie is telling Adelynn to say "Cheese"!
Here is Addy intently watching Mackenzie play with this easel and she has herself perfectly propped up, sitting all by herself. It lasted about 5 minutes until she tried to reach for the toy and fell in Mackenzie's lap.
