Mackenzie and I have just been taking it easy this weekend. She started coming down with a chest cold so we hung out and cuddled most of the time. I figured I'd soak it up now while I can. I felt ambitious Sunday afternoon and thought I'd make a chocolate cake. Kenzie wanted to help but I was able to pacify her by letting her lick the spoon instead. She really enjoyed it and turns out to have been the best part of the cake. When I tried to get it out of the pan, it crumbled so I have a mound of chocolate crumbs. At least I didn't have to take the time to make frosting! We enjoyed a small bowl of chocolate chunks and milk but that was about it. It curbed my craving with half the calories! Haha.
