Christmas in Michigan

What a trip! Our flight was canceled due to weather, so after 9 hours in the airport we were re-booked for the following day. We finally arrived to Michigan Sunday afternoon. Mackenzie did amazing on the plane. We were worried about the trip home because the night before our flight MI started getting heavy snow. Our plane made it out just in time though as MI now has 12+ inches of snow. We all had a wonderful time visiting with friends and family...and as we expected, Kenzie got a lot of new toys and clothes. It took 4 suitcases to get everything home, but we did it with my amazing packing skills! Mackenzie had some trouble with stranger anxiety but after a few days she started warming up to people. She enjoyed the train that Papa Sam put up for her and the doll her great grandma Doe got her. She was quite the traveler and we're so proud at how well she handled all the new faces and scenes. She had her 4 month appointment the day before we flew home. She did pretty well with her shots. She cried but not nearly as bad as last time. She now weighs 12lbs, 11oz and is 24inches long. Her doctor said she can start on rice cereal if we'd like. I thought about waiting until she was closer to 5 months but she seems real interested in what we're eating, so we'll give it a try soon...with pictures to come. Hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas and had a wonderful New Year! Love to all!!
